Born in Springfield, Jane lived a full and generous life devoted to her family, friends, and community. She had a warm spirit, a quick sense of humor, and a deep love for gardening, reading, and long walks by the water. Those who knew her remember her kindness, her hospitality, and the way she made everyone feel welcome.
Throughout her life, Jane gave generously of her time and heart. She volunteered at the local library, mentored younger members of her community, and was always the first to lend a hand to a neighbor in need. Her greatest joy was bringing people together — whether around the dinner table, in the garden, or simply through a kind word at just the right moment. The legacy she leaves is measured not in possessions, but in the countless lives she touched.
Jane is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends who will carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Springfield Community Chapel, 123 Main Street, Springfield. A reception will follow in the chapel hall. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jane's honor.
